Role Title: Dutch Transcription Expert

micro1 is engaging Dutch Transcription Experts to contribute to an exciting customer project focused on high-quality audio transcription. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required, your domain knowledge is what matters. This is an excellent opportunity to work with professionally recorded audio samples in both Dutch and English, bringing your deep understanding of language nuances and context to the forefront. Your attention to detail, linguistic fluency, and experience with professional transcription will be essential in delivering precise and reliable data that makes a real impact.

Scope of Work

• Transcribe audio samples from Dutch and English into accurate, high-quality written text with an emphasis on correct grammar, punctuation, and context.
• Review, proofread, and edit your transcriptions to ensure consistency and adherence to project guidelines.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to clarify ambiguous content and align on transcription standards.
• Assist in annotating transcriptions for specific linguistic features, as required for AI model training.
• Follow detailed instructions to accurately capture nuances, dialects, and speaker intent in the transcriptions.
• Provide constructive feedback to enhance transcription quality and workflow processes.
• Maintain confidentiality and data security throughout all project deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Dutch, with exceptional command of Dutch grammar and usage.
• Professional experience in audio transcription, ideally with proven work on Dutch language samples.
• Familiarity with English audio transcription is a plus.
• Keen attention to detail, with an ability to capture subtle linguistic and contextual cues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating care and precision in feedback and collaboration.
• Experience contributing to AI training, natural language processing, or data annotation projects is beneficial, though not required.
• Comfort working independently in a remote environment, meeting project quality standards and deadlines.
