Bilingual Writer - Portuguese (Brazil)

Mercor is hiring native Portuguese speakers to help capture and evaluate real, natural voice interactions with a next-generation AI assistant, in partnership with a leading AI lab.

You will use a specialized version of the app on your own Mac to complete everyday tasks by voice, then log and rate the AI's responses in your bilingual language.

Key Responsibilities

• Use your voice to compose messages, emails, and notes across everyday apps

• Direct the AI to take actions such as generating images, formatting text, applying spreadsheet formulas, or summarizing documents

• Record accurate transcripts of your spoken queries, and produce a cleaned-up transcript

• Rate the AI's responses

• Log all task data in a structured tracking sheet and upload supporting recordings to a shared drive

Ideal Qualifications

• Native or near-native proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese (raised/native to Brazil preferred)

• Able to understand and follow instructions in English

• MUST own a Mac with an Apple Silicon chip (M1, M2, or M3) running macOS Sequoia 15.0 or newer

• Regular, everyday use of common productivity apps (email, messaging, docs, spreadsheets, browsers)

• Comfortable with detailed, structured data entry and self-directed quality review
