Role Title: Japanese Audio Recording Expert

micro1 is engaging Japanese Audio Recording Experts to contribute to a customer’s cutting-edge project in the field of language and AI. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required, your domain knowledge is what matters. micro1 seeks experts with a strong background in recording and editing professional-grade audio in Japanese. Your contributions will be integral to building robust language datasets and improving the natural language understanding of advanced AI models. As part of the evaluation process, you may be requested to submit an audio sample using your best and most professional equipment.

Scope of Work

• Record high-quality Japanese audio samples according to detailed linguistic and technical specifications.
• Edit and process audio files to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to project guidelines.
• Deliver audio content in prescribed formats using professional recording equipment and industry-standard software.
• Collaborate with project coordinators to resolve queries and incorporate feedback on audio submissions.
• Ensure consistency and authenticity in pronunciation, tone, and delivery across different audio samples.
• Maintain organized records of submissions and project deliverables as required.
• Complete assignments within established milestones and quality benchmarks.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least three years of professional experience in Japanese audio recording and editing.
• Proficient with modern audio recording equipment and editing software (e.g., Pro Tools, Audacity, Adobe Audition).
• Strong understanding of acoustics, audio quality assurance, and post-production processes.
• Native or near-native fluency in Japanese, with exceptional pronunciation and articulation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver clear, authentic, and engaging spoken recordings.
• Experience working independently and meeting project-based deliverables.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards in audio production.
