About the Role
Mercor is partnering with a leading technology organization to recruit experienced Radio Frequency (RF) and Electromagnetic (EM) Engineering Experts for a short-term project. Experts will apply their hands-on industry experience to analyze and solve complex problems involving RF systems, electromagnetics, antennas, propagation, and related engineering applications.
What You'll Do

Solve complex technical problems involving RF and electromagnetic engineering.

Analyze RF/EM systems, components, antennas, circuits, and architectures.

Apply electromagnetic theory, RF principles, and engineering methodologies to real-world scenarios.

Analyze technical specifications, system requirements, simulation results, and engineering data.

Evaluate design trade-offs, performance limitations, calculations, assumptions, and proposed solutions.

Review and validate technical approaches and results, providing technically rigorous solutions and explanations.

Follow project-specific technical guidelines and evaluation criteria.
Who Should Apply

Experienced RF, Electromagnetic, Microwave, Antenna, or related engineering professionals with hands-on industry experience.

Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, RF Engineering, Electromagnetics, or a related field.

Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory, RF engineering principles, and signal propagation.

Practical experience in one or more of:

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree in RF Engineering, Electromagnetics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience with microwave or millimeter-wave systems, antenna arrays, phased arrays, beamforming, or MIMO.

Experience in radar, wireless communications, satellite communications, or RF sensing.

Experience with electromagnetic simulation, RF characterization, and laboratory testing.

Experience translating theoretical RF/EM concepts into practical engineering solutions.

Research experience or publications in RF, electromagnetics, antennas, or related fields is a plus.
