micro1 is engaging DevOps Engineers to contribute to a dynamic customer project focused on scalable, modern cloud infrastructure. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required, your domain knowledge is what matters. This opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about automation, infrastructure as code, and continuous improvement, with a special focus on strong written and verbal communication skills.

Key responsibilities

• Design realistic DevOps tasks based on production-style scenarios (CI/CD, containers, orchestration, IaC, monitoring, incident response)
• Write working reference solutions with clear setup and validation steps
• Review AI-generated output, identify failures, and write precise corrections with reasoning
• Maintain a strict quality bar on correctness and reproducibility
• Share structured feedback that improves future task design

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform, or Infrastructure engineering
• Strong coding ability in Python, Go, Bash, or TypeScript (this role needs real code, not scripts alone)
• Practical depth in CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins), Docker, Kubernetes, and at least one cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or CloudFormation)
• Advanced Linux and Git
• Professional English, written and spoken
• Availability of at least 20 hours per week

Preferred qualifications

• Observability stack experience (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, OpenTelemetry)
• Security, secrets management, or platform reliability background
• Open source contributions or technical writing
• Previous AI training data or model evaluation work
